Sponsoring a child

What does individual sponsorship consist of?
Your engagement
The principle of sponsorship is to donate a fixed amount monthly in order to participate in the food, school and health costs of the child you sponsor. Everyone is free to invest as they wish within the limits of the rules established in advance to maintain the protection and well-being of our children. (For example, you can send letters, a birthday present, etc.).
Our engagement
The NGO sends you a monthly newsletter to follow our children. We also try to be as responsive as possible, so you can ask us anything whenever you desire.
What does collective sponsorship consist of?
The principle is the same, however you do not want to be tied to a specific child.
How to proceed ?
If you live in France you can make your transfer to the account of the Cyta Adga association which is our financial partner. This option will allow you to deduct your monthly donation from taxes since the association is recognized as being of general interest. If you live in Benin we have an account on site in the name of the NGO OHANA. If you live in another country you can choose the account (Benin or France).

Testimony of a godmother who visited us several times and who has met her godson and the other children.
“I have been sponsoring little M. for over a year now with whom I tied strong ties. In March 2019, I was finally able to meet him and all the children. I couldn't sleep the night before I met my godson. The next day, I still didn't realize that I was finally going to be able to see him and hug him. When I arrived, I heard the children's screams of joy. I know this moment will be etched in my heart for life. I was greeted warmly by all the children and the aunties. I was finally able to answer all the questions I had. I can't find the words to describe this encounter. But from my arrival to my departure, everything was more than wonderful. Sponsorship is a very strong wish on my part and carefully considered, it gives new meaning to my life. It is a great step to help children in need. Sponsorship is a human, enriching exchange. I advise sponsors to go and meet their godchild if they can because this meeting brought us closer together. I have only one desire: to go back! Sponsorship for me has become more than financial aid. "

Second testimony
“I am very happy to make my small contribution and to see, thanks to the many feedback from the managers, a great evolution of this project which is close to my heart. I am delighted to see that my monthly donation directly benefits these children who are attached even from a distance. All my family and I always receive the news from the orphanage with great emotion. We decided not to sponsor a particular child but despite everything we have the impression to know them through the photos received regularly. We hope one day to be able to come to Benin it would be a wonderful experience for my husband, my children and myself. "
